Over lockdown the UK's psytrance scene reverted to its free-party roots, with the epicentre in London. Without the unswerving commitment of certain underground promoters and sound systems, it would have been an even darker and more depressing couple of years.
Risking fines of £10,000 and unwanted police attention, hats off to the brave souls who made these parties happen and those who attended.
These two tracks reflect that cheeky, funky underground vibe from our gritty but lively capital city. They are a celebration of the relentlessly positive and cheeky energy that flowed from meetings of our psychedelic tribe wherever we could get a rig, decks and lights set up.
